The Chester East Clock is a prominent landmark in the city and is the most photographed clock in England after Big Ben. Recently, the clock went under a long period of restoration and is now looking as new as the day it was installed back in 1897.
Being a Cestrian, it is only right that I have an image of this famous clock on display in my home! About 10 years ago when I was first starting out in photography, I photographed the clock and had the image printed on canvas where it has been proudly hanging in my dining room ever since. However, following the clock's refresh I thought it was time to update my canvas with a higher quality image.
On Sunday morning I went walking on the Chester Walls and timed my visit to the East Clock to match the time on my original canvas. The updated image is below where I have ordered a 20"x 20"x 2" Canvas from the laboratory that I am partnered with.
