Lion at Chester Zoo

Yesterday my wife and I spent the afternoon at Chester Zoo.  I went with high hopes of capturing hundreds of images of the animals however the Zoo was so busy that photography was almost impossible.  That said I did capture this stunning image of a Lion relaxing in his enclosure.

I captured this image using a 300mm Prime Lens and by using a single focus point with a wide aperture I was able to fool the camera into ignoring the cage which gives the appearance that this image was taken in the wild!
